A couple of questions about wedding rings....?

Okay, my husbands finger started pussing under his wedding ring. (its white gold) we've been married for almost a year now (June 22 will be a year) and this just happened 2 days ago. How would we know if it was an allergic reaction or if he got something else under it and didn't know? Is there a difference? Can it take that long for an allergic reaction to react?

Oh, and when do youg et anniversary rings? Is it any year or only on certain years? And where do you wear those?

You usually get an anniversary band.If you have been married at least 10 years.I got mine on our tenth.And that is what our jeweler said is the most common anniversary to give a band.Which makes sense if you think about it.You shouldn't get a special band for just any anniversary.Or other wise the poor hubby's would be getting nagged for one every year.Has for your hubby's band.If he was allergic to it.It would have shown up long before now.He might have gotten something under his band that irritated his skin and caused the pussing.
