Nearsighted in my right eye. Should I get glasses or contacts?

I'm 13 and I went to my doctor and got a physical and in my left eye I have 20/20 vision, in my right eye I have 20/50.

I don't really want my eyes to be covered by glasses because my eyes are grey and look cool.

But my friend told me if you wear contacts a lot they damage your eyes. Also, my hand shakes a lot and idk if I'd be able to put them in right.

So...
*Will I only have to wear one contact because my left eye is fine?
*What is your opinion on colored contacts?
*Will I get to try out a pair of contacts at the vision place (Sterling Vision)?
*What do you recommend I get, glass or contacts?

Both glasses and contacts have their place.

Ask your friend if she is making up her statement because what she is saying is not based in fact.

You would only have to wear one contact lens unless you wanted colored contacts which are nice if you want to see what you would look like with different eye color. Most places have free samples.

Most teenagers prefer contacts over glasses.
