Should I Wear A Religious Bracelet At Work?

I work in social services and am always "in public eye". I am considering buying a 19-charm Catholic medal bracelet (which is rather ostentatious) with saints on it, but worry that my co-workers will consider it too "heavy" and too "religious" and will think that I am "weird". Should I get it?

Social Services = Government work. Government and Religion are separate. They do not belong together.

Beyond that, I work in a field where I have contact with large numbers of the community. In my schooling, they told us we have the right to read/wear anything we like, however, we should always try to NOT offend the people we are working with. I'm sure many of your clients would not care about the bracelet, but there are many people that could take offense to something as "ostentatious" as your description.

Be proud of your faith, love and embrace your faith, but you don't have to flaunt it at work. Buy the bracelet, but wear it out...not to work.
